Citizen’s Education Sector Report Card
The NTA carried out this Citizen’s Public Expenditure Review (CPER) to assist the Ministry of Education improve its delivery of services to benefit all Kenyans. The review examines how resources have been utilised in the recent past and to what effect. It also makes proposals on how to improve service delivery. In carrying out this review, the NTA contracted a team of four Kenyan education experts, who were tasked with studying more than 40 documents on the education sector, written over the past three years. The review team then undertook a comprehensive literature review to identify the best methods of delivering services in the education sector in Africa and other continents. It also conducted a series of in-depth interviews with Ministry of Education officials. Based on the analysis of the information gathered, the team drafted the NTA Citizen’s Education Sector Review Report – Improving the Delivery of Services for All Kenyans.
