Developing NTA Capacity Programme
This programme will propel NTA as a professional, capable catalyst for change. In order to engage in sustained programmes that influence change, NTA must have effective governance structures, necessary capacity to implement interventions, respond to the changing governance context, and build on the lessons learned and achievements. NTA requires sustainable resources and funding to take a long-term approach towards social accountability through lobbying, advocating, monitoring and implementation. NTA seeks to secure its empowerment model and sustainability through developing an active membership base. NTA will also continue to invest in its human resource capacity and financial resources to consolidate its operations and ensure a professional approach runs throughout the organisation. NTA will continue to invest in programme learning through monitoring and evaluation and gender mainstreaming.
NTA will continue to tap into the extensive volunteerism and consolidate its regional and nationwide structure to facilitate the coordination and effective implementation of its programme activities. NTA prides itself on its research and evidence-based foundations that inform the success of NTA interventions. The organisation’s research approach will continue to be strengthened and provide data upon which programmes and decisions are based. The programme will also develop an aggressive marketing and visibility strategy to promote NTA products and services, raise its public image and legitimacy, and acquire partnerships and contracts.
