Become a School Report Card Committee member
Are you interested in improving the quality of your child’s education? Do you want to take a more active role in your child’s primary school? Are you willing to volunteer as an 'active' parent?
National Taxpayers Association are looking for volunteers to take part in School Report Card Committees. The School Report Card is a form developed by the Ministry of Education and the NTA to improve the quality of education for girls and boys in public primary schools in Kenya. The School Report Card is a tool for parents of children enrolled in public primary schools to assess the performance of their school each year. Parents will use their completed School Report Card to hold their headteacher, teachers and School Management Committee to account to improve the quality of education in their primary school. To assist with completing the School Report Card form parents will elect a School Report Card Committee.
We are looking for female and male 'active' parents to get involved. Active parents:
- Are those who are committed to improving their school
- Have a good level of education and can speak in public
- Are willing to volunteer their time to help the school
- Cannot be members of the School Management Committee, or any other School Committee.
